Martin Mildner has been Chief Financial Officer of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE since May 1, 2023. In this role, he is responsible for Controlling, Risk Management, Accounting & Taxes, Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance and Corporate Security for the holding and the Group's segment Commerce & Ventures.

The proven financial expert and M&A manager looks back on more than 25 years of professional experience in dynamic and fast-growing industries, where his extensive experience in the fields of e-commerce and digitalization has enabled him to provide valuable impulses for companies' growth strategies, focusing on the strategic management of portfolio companies.

Before joining ProSiebenSat.1, Martin Mildner was CFO of MDAX-listed United Internet AG for almost three years, during which time he successfully took public the Group subsidiary IONOS. Until 2020, Mildner spent 13 years with the Hamburg-based Otto Group as General Counsel and Head of M&A. In this role, he was responsible for M&A, Venture Capital and Private Equity, Legal, Compliance and Real Estate across the Group. In addition, he was in charge of, among other things, the development of About You, one of Europe’s most successful e-commerce companies and one of the few German Unicorns, as well as for the preparation of About You's IPO in 2021.

Martin Mildner began his career as a lawyer and tax advisor, initially for more than five years at the auditing and consulting firm KPMG and later as a partner at the commercial law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, before switching to the corporate side in 2007. Mildner studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau and is also a state-certified tax advisor.
